Soft Shell™

The next generation of technical outwear. Light and durable SOFT SHELL fabric combines the functions of an outerlayer and midlayer into one. It isn't waterproof, but a DWR gives it enough water resistance you can bear a short squall or extended light rain as long as you're moving. That's where our Soft Shell excels; it isn't always raining but when you're on the move you always need to break the wind, breathe excess vapor and heat away, or fend off branches, rocks and dirt without breaking down.  Soft Shell garments are perfect for activities with intensely aerobic phases. Soft Shell provides the insulation and wickability of fleece with excellent wind and water resistance.
