Description
When you're in the alpine, on steep rock, or in icy couloirs, you need a backpack that is tough, durable, and carries well.
Our Alpine Mountaineering backpacks are built with Robic, a light fabric that is super resilient against abrasion, punctures, and tearing. Featuring a solid suspension, hung from two aluminum struts that form a triangle of support from your shoulders to the base of your spine. A PE framesheet molds to the curves of your back, and molded foam pads rest softy against your back with a spinal venting channel. The shoulder straps aren't merely padded, they're sculpted to allow your arms to raise without the pads bunching up. Behind your head the backpack is recessed, creating an occipital cavity so you can lift your head without bumping into the lid. There are multiple lash points for carrying tools with organizational pockets inside and out, including an internal sleeve and ports on either side for a hydration system.
