Women's Kodiak III GTX Down Coat

I love this coat and I love this company. I looked at everything on the market and kept coming back. I wanted something long and warm that wasn't your standard puffer and that would hold up to being outside in Colorado winter all day. It was more important to be warm than stylish but this absolutely has both and my vanity is grateful for it. The coat has a fantastic quality of construction and a great aesthetic. The hood is deep and adjustable and has a better shape than similar styles. The coat is incredibly warm and comfortable and my favorite parts are the cozy fabric with which they lined the hand pockets (wish it were in all four pockets) and magnets in the trim. I also had some returns and exchanges hunting for the right size and style and the customer service was fantastic. I also own the alpha pro jacket and it's the lightest, warmest and most versatile jacket of it's style I've ever owned and I grew up in CO with mountaineering family. Red Fox is now my go-to. My only critiques are I wish there were more city friendly, (versus find me in the snow) color options.

Purchased this coat because I needed something very warm to go to Canada. I have had moose knuckles and Canada goose products before, but was not happy with the quality of their products. This coat is at a very high end for quality material used and workmanship. Every detail is extremely well thought through and is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, warm, and luxurious. I am always cold and was looking for a warm, comfortable and stylish coat. This coat is looks and feels great and keeps me toasty.

The internal suspenders are a very nice touch.
The quality looks really great and I don’t think there much better alternative on the US market.

I took a plunge to order online given the free return policy, but it fit me really well and I am keeping it.
